Credit Card Security

Credit card details provided to us via this website are transmitted, stored and retrieved securely.  Our shopping cart system uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection to ensure that your personal data is secure during transmission between your computer and our host server.

What is SSL?  The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, originally developed by Netscape, has become the universal standard on the Web for authenticating Web sites to Web browser users, and for encrypting communications between browser users and Web servers.  The prefix https://, instead of http://, in the browser address bar on the credit card payment page denotes that the information you are sending is being transmitted securely.

Once your credit card information has been submitted, the information is transmitted and stored on our host server.  When it arrives, the information is encrypted using GNU Privacy Guard (GPG) software.  Only Consultant Training Australia employees have access to the encryption key to access and decrypt the information files for processing.

An employee periodically accesses the encrypted files on the server and prints the payment information. Your credit card is debited and the printed record of your credit card details is then destroyed.  We not retain records of members’ credit card numbers.
